Format and anonymise CVs, find vacancies and create outreach messages, all in one place.
To begin, head to 'My Candidates' on your navigation menu.
My Candidates is an add-on. If you would like access, please get in touch with your Customer Success Manager.
How to upload and format a CV
1. To start, click the 'New' button at the top of the page.
2. In this section, you will need to upload a CV. You can drag and drop your file or click 'Choose File'.
My Candidates supports the upload of Word and PDF documents. Please ensure these files are text-based; scanned documents or images are not accepted.
3. the CV will be displayed in your company's branding once uploaded. Paiger automatically includes a cover page for the first page.
4. Paiger offers three templates for your CV format: the default template, an anonymous template that hides the candidate's personal information, a bullet point template that organises content into easy-to-read bullet points, and an anonymous bullet point template.
To choose your preferred template, click the dropdown menu in the top left corner.
5. You can modify the CV by clicking the 'Edit' button in the top left corner. Paiger provides you with suggestions by identifying spelling and grammar mistakes, as well as providing valuable tips to help reduce bias in your writing.

6. You have the flexibility to edit or delete text and adjust formatting options such as:
- Adding headings using H1 or H2.
- Including bullet or number points.
- Changing alignment to left, center, or right.
- Applying bold or italic styles.
- Modifying font type and colour.
Tip - if you make a mistake, press ctrl+Z or cmd+Z to undo.
7. Additionally, you can add or modify an existing table. Click on the row you wish to edit and select the red table icon to add or remove rows and columns. It is recommended that the table on the cover page be tidied up by eliminating empty rows or columns for a polished CV presentation.
8. Once happy with the edits, click save and enter a revision name. If you don't enter this, it will overwrite the existing file. The dropdown menu at the top left of the CV shows all revisions for each candidate.
There are several actions you can do directly in the candidate profile.
- Using AI, automatically generate a speculative email for a hiring manager
- Get a boolean string written for you so you can search for other similar candidates
- Receive recommended interview questions for the candidate
- Share the candidate's profile on LinkedIn to promote the candidate
- Find vacancies for the candidate
How to generate a speculative email
1. When viewing a candidate profile, select the 'Speculative' button on the top of the page, or if this isn't visible, click the 'Actions' dropdown.
2. Using AI, Paiger will generate an email for you to send to a hiring manager. Click 'Copy To Clipboard' and paste it into an email, where you can edit it before sending.
3. To dismiss the pop-up, click anywhere outside it on the screen.
How to generate a boolean string
1. When viewing a candidate profile, select the 'Boolean' button on the top of the page, or if this isn't visible, click the 'Actions' dropdown.
2. Paiger will then generate a boolean string so you can search for similar candidates. From here, you can do the following actions:
- Copy to clipboard
- Open it on the following job boards:
CV Library, Career Structure, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Reed, Seek, or Total Jobs.
You'll need to log in to access the job boards.
How to receive recommended interview questions
1. When viewing a candidate profile, select the 'Questions' button on the top of the page, or if this isn't visible, click the 'Actions' dropdown.
2. Paiger will provide you with ten suggested interview questions to ask the candidate.
How to share the candidate's profile on LinkedIn
1. When viewing a candidate profile, select the 'Share' button on the top of the page, or if this isn't visible, click the 'Actions' dropdown.
2. Paiger will write a post for you to use to promote the candidate.
3. Click share to see the post and make any edits before scheduling, as you would any other post.

How to research companies the candidate has worked at
1. When viewing a candidate profile, select the 'Research' button on the top of the page, or if this isn't visible, click the 'Actions' dropdown.
2. Select which company you would like to research.
3. This will open Research in a new tab where you can research the company as usual.

How to Find vacancies for the candidate
1. When viewing a candidate profile, select the 'Vacancies' button on the top of the page, or if this isn't visible, click the 'Actions' dropdown.
2. Paiger will automatically search for vacancies based on the job title listed in the candidate profile. If you want to change it, edit the title in the text box and click 'Search'.
3. To ensure Paiger can accurately retrieve vacancies, you must manually input the desired location. Enter the location in the 'Location Search' text box.
4. Paiger will provide you with the latest live vacancies list. From here, you can do the following actions:
- Save the vacancy for later. To view all your saved vacancies, navigate to 'Find Vacancies' and click 'Saved Vacancies' below the search bar.
- View the full advert from the source and click 'View Advert'.
- Create a boolean string based on the advert. Click 'Build Search,' which will open a new tab where you can build your boolean string. Learn how to use Boolean Searches here.
- Find the hiring manager's contact information. Click 'Contact Info,' and Paiger will send you the emails.
- Get an email written to send to the hiring manager; click 'Generate Email'. Copy it to your clipboard and paste it into an email.
- To receive recommended interview questions for the vacancy, click 'Interview Questions'.
- Click more to view the company on LinkedIn and Zing and to receive more information about the company.
