This guide explains how to import candidates from your Bullhorn CRM into Paiger and export them back with updated CVs once you've made your edits.
Note: This guide assumes your Bullhorn integration is already connected. If you need help setting up the connection, please refer to our Connecting Paiger to Your Bullhorn Account article.
Prerequisites
- Active Bullhorn integration is configured by your administrator
- Personal Bullhorn account connection completed
Importing Candidates from Bullhorn
Once your account is connected, you can import candidates:
1. In My Candidates, click the Import button
2. Use the search function to find candidates in your Bullhorn CRM:

- Search by first name and surname
- Search by email address
- Use any combination that helps locate the specific candidate
3. Select the desired candidate from the search results
The CV will now process through Paiger's normal workflow, taking up to 2 minutes to complete. It will open in your default template once processing is finished.
Step 3: Editing Your Candidate CV
Once imported, you can:
- Edit the CV using Paiger's templating tools
- Make formatting improvements
- Update content as needed
- Apply your preferred template styling
Step 4: Exporting Back to Bullhorn
After completing your edits, you can export the updated CV back to Bullhorn:
1. Click the Export to CRM button.
This button is only visible for candidates who have been imported from Bullhorn.
- 2. You will see a progress bar as your export is carried out, along with a complete message when it is ready
What Happens in Bullhorn
Once the export is complete, you'll see the following updates in your Bullhorn account:
- A new CV document added to the candidate's file
- An automated note added to the candidate record indicating the CV has been processed
- The note content can be customised by contacting support@paiger.co with your preferred message
